HCRC started the way all great things start: someone was on their fourth coffee, forty pages from the end of a book, and deeply unwilling to do anything about it.

We noticed something. The people who read obsessively and caffeinate aggressively — they always find each other. In the café corner, in the library aisle, in the comments section of a 3am BookTok post. There's a look. A nod. An unspoken "I, too, have seventeen unread books and zero regrets."

We decided to make that nod wearable. The result is this: apparel for people whose hobbies are technically sedentary but feel extremely urgent.
